I was watching TV news earlier today – always inadvisable, I know – and couldn’t help noticing that the first 10 minutes of the 15 minute programme were devoted to the US presidential elections. The remaining world news was crammed into the last 5 minutes, including the weather report.

For a moment, I felt indignant that the electoral process in a foreign country could devour so much British airtime. Then I remembered I’d written about little else myself on this blog. Ha. I’m a one track fox too.

So tune in next week for a few paragraphs on football and the plight of the indigenous Welsh starling.

(Just kidding. It’ll be half-baked twittering and righteous indignation, i.e. business as usual.)
